David Danher AFBCI

Director

David is ITBC’s Principal Consultant. He is an accredited Business Continuity practitioner and has ITIL V3 foundation certification.

​

Overall, David has 38 years’ experience in the IT industry. He began his career as a mainframe expert in disaster recovery, configuration, storage and operations. For the last 18 years, he has been a Consultant within the business continuity, disaster recovery, information security and ITIL disciplines.

​

He has worked:

• as a consultant for one of Australia’s best IT integrators providing BC, DR, Info Sec and ITIL consultancy services

• for storage vendors designing and implementing DR solutions and storage upgrades across the world

• two of Australia’s major banks as a mainframe computer operator, storage administrator and disaster recovery technician

• in Australia, New Zealand, USA, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore

 

He provides leadership within the BC industry by involving himself on committees that review and update Good Practice Guidelines and International Standards.

 

His depth of experience, wealth of knowledge and creative problem solving skills makes him the consummate professional.

Sharon Danher

Business Manager

 

Sharon is ITBC’s Business Manager.

​

Sharon has 37 years’ experience in administration; working in the financial, retail and automotive industries and has bookkeeping certification.

​

Her background makes Sharon the logical choice to manage the day to day operations of ITBC.
